IPEC

IPEC is an electrical installations company specialising in monitoring Partial Discharge, a safety issue which can ultimately lead to breakdown and failure of components. Their equipment is installed in locations across the UK and further afield, including electrical substations with high voltage transformers where safety is critical.

I worked for IPEC over the summer of the second year of my undergraduate degree. During that time I worked with Perl, PostgreSQL and administering Linux servers.
