UK Shareholders' Association
The UK Shareholders' Association (UKSA) is a membership body for individual shareholders. Despite the UK name, it had members from around the world, although the vast majority were UK-based.
As membership secretary I had full access to everything except the bank account. My responsibilities included:
- Processing all new membership applications and renewals
- Paying all incoming cheques into the bank
- Liaising with the regional representatives
- Organising the distribution of the newsletter
After handing over to a new secretary on taking up my position at Direct Fleet Insurance, I continued to support the organisation as a volunteer.
